Well this weather has seriously limited what Charles and I have done this week, and will do this weekend. And unfortunately that will translate onto the “page”. Chalres was going to play a round of golf with Ron today, and then we were headed to the ball park for a day of tail gating and baseball. But it is 50 degrees and raining, and does not look like it is going to stop for the weekend. Plans canceled and we are confined to the condo.
I did get one wonderful surprise this week: flowers from my husband for no reason! Every now and again, he will bring some flowers home just to say “I love you” and this week the arrangement was made of daises, mums, and baby carnations. They travel around the house with me as I work and are currently “helping” me type this post by sitting to the left of the computer. I took this picture last night before we (charles, myself, and the flowers) went to bed for the night. Needless to say, I feel very grateful and blessed!
Perhaps the most exciting news of the week was for the lonely goose! Weather permitting we did get to the park a few days, and during one visit with the dogs we learned that the lonely goose has a family! After a quick visit to Wikipedia, I learned that the mother was likely nearby in the past month serving as an incubator for their eggs. The article talks about how the parents will warn off perceived predators with a hiss – we learned that as I was taking this picture of the family. You can see both of the parents mouths wide open: it was hissing the whole time I was attempting a photo. I wonder if they were more worried about me or Radar?
Well, I am out of coffee and Charles is running out of Pinterst pages to entertain him. I think that means its time to wrap up. We are toying with the idea of home improvement projects to keep us busy for the day. I will let you know what we come up with!
